Cleaning Projects at Refineries, Chemical or Power Plants
Baker's 70,000-litre steel tanks provide efficient and high capacity temporary storage to
contain large volumes of liquid produced during cleaning processes. This additional on-site
liquid capacity benefits the plant by reducing the burden of unusually large quantities of
liquid on the water treatment plant.
Baker tanks also allow for residence time to settle out solids before pushing the water
through the treatment process, thereby reducing the workload of the treatment system.
During cleaning - and depending on the chemical used - the PH of the cleaning water can vary
causing problems for most water treatment systems. Baker's Polyamine lined steel tanks are
an excellent solution for storing and neutralizing the water prior to sending it to the
treatment system to ensure against corrosion or upsets to the system.
